Privacy notice
Updated September 12, 2026. Gwip is a beta game-building service operated by Ferzam Berki. This notice describes how the current service handles your information.
Your account
Email sign-in uses your email address and account credentials through Supabase Auth. When you choose Google, we request only your basic identity: your Google account identifier, name, email address and profile image, as provided by Google. Supabase stores this identity information to create and authenticate your Gwip account. Gwip uses your confirmed account identifier to keep your projects separate from other creators.
Google sign-in does not request access to your Gmail, Drive or contacts. Google account information is used for authentication and account management, not as part of the game-generation instructions sent by Gwip. Our use of information received from Google is governed by the Google API Services User Data Policy.
Your games and requests
We store your game ideas, conversations, project source, generated assets and version history to build your games and apply changes. We also retain build results, test reports, errors and usage records to operate the service, enforce limits and investigate failures. Authorized administration may access these records for support and operation.
Services that process information
Supabase provides authentication, database and file storage. Resend delivers account confirmation and password-reset emails, processing the recipient email address and authentication email content. Vercel hosts the studio and published games and provides isolated game-testing environments. Render runs the application API, build worker and queue. OpenAI receives game instructions and project content when you request AI generation. Experimental asset workflows may use Runpod GPU infrastructure. These services process the information needed for their respective functions.
Sharing and browser storage
A published game's play link and game files are publicly accessible to anyone with the link. Your private project conversation and editing controls require your account or authorized administration. Someone who receives a public game can keep or redistribute their own copy.
The studio uses browser storage to keep you signed in and preserve an unfinished game idea during sign-in. Signing out clears the active studio session from that browser. Google and the hosting providers may also use their own storage and request logs when you use their services.
Retention and your choices
The beta retains account and project records, including earlier versions, for ongoing use and recovery. There is no automatic deletion schedule or self-service account deletion yet. You can revoke Google's access through your Google Account settings; this does not itself delete the records already stored in Gwip.
For access, correction or deletion requests, contact fkberki@gmail.com. Requests are handled manually. Backup copies and copies of public games held by other people are separate from the live studio and may remain after a live record is removed.
Changes to this notice will be published here with an updated date. Questions about your account or this notice can be sent to the same contact address.
